Trellinet is a popular square mesh that is used for supporting all sorts of heavier climbing plants. The plastic netting can be attached to fences or weaved through stakes and posts to ensure the best growing environment for plants such as peas, runner beans, sweet peas and even flowers like clematis. Also excellent for heavier climbing plants such as tomatoes and cucumbers. The netting could even be used for small sections of vines or to hang outdoor lighting.
The net can be used either vertically or horizontally, and needs to be attached to poles or stakes at intervals of around 80cm (31.5 inches) to 100cm (39.4 inches). The mesh size of each square is 20cm (8 inches) by 20cm (8 inches).
