This incredibly popular dwarf pea variety can be planted successfully in both pots and containers for bountiful results. If planned carefully across two sowings, with one in early and one in late spring, crops can be produced across four months. The Kelvedon Wonder is well known and highly recommended for its outstanding flavour, as recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society with an Award for Garden Merit. Each packet contains roughly 250 seeds.

These seeds can be sown any time between March and June. When sowing, arrange the seeds in a zig-zag pattern with 7.5cm (3") spacing in a flat-bottomed drill, which should be roughly 20cm (8") wide. Ensure there is 45cm (18") space between rows to allow room for growth. For support, the peas will need a stake or trellis as they grow and will require plenty of water, especially at flowering.
