Distinctively warm with a bit of bite (though not too peppery), French Breakfast's long roots give excellent value for slicing in salads, or for eating whole with some creamy, unsalted Normandy or Charentes butter. Recognised as a winner by the Royal Horticultural Society with an Award for 'Garden Merit', this variety is a true crowd-pleaser with both family and friends. Each packet contains roughly 750 seeds.

These seeds can be sown once every 2-3 weeks for continuous crops all season, with harvests from June to November. Sow any time between March and August in shallow drills where you want them to grow and allow 10cm between rows. Once they have grown big enough to handle, thin seedlings to 2cm apart.
