Finest quality seeds, handpicked for the Nutley's range of unusual and heritage fruit and vegetables. The Charentais - probably the best tasting of all the melons - dates back to at least 1787. Sweet, honey-tasting orange flesh with pale green skin - delightfully scented and absolutely delicious.

Sow April; harvest July-September. Melons are best grown in a warm, sunny spot with high humidity. They can be grown outdoors in a warm summer, but prefer a greenhouse, polytunnel or cloche.

Picked and packed by hand for Nutley's by heirloom seedsman Thomas Etty in Somerset. Full growing instructions are included on the packet. Approx. 8 seeds.
