The Nutley’s Extra Large Root Growers are available in a 28 cell, 45 cell and a 60 cell. The root growers are especially good for larger seeds and starting off trees, shrubs and bigger vegetables as well as seedlings and seeds. The trays are good, sturdy and stand-alone and come with drainage holes.
Nutley’s tip: if you wash these trays carefully after use, they can be re-used for several seasons.
Each tray measures 52cm (20.5) length and is 29cm wide. The size of the cells will vary depending on the root grower you purchase. For the 45 cell trays, the cells are 15cm deep and 6cm across. Whereas, 60 cell root trainers cells are 14cm deep and 5cm across.
